Project name: Implementation of technological processes of a new business unit

Short description of the project: On November 26, 2021. company VEKTOR GRUPA d.o.o. signed with the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development and the Croatian Agency for Small Economy, Innovation and Investments, the Agreement on the allocation of grants for the purpose of implementing the project entitled “Implementation of technological processes of a new business unit“, contract reference number KK.11.1.1.01 .0357. The implementation of the project was co-financed through OP Competitiveness and Cohesion 2014-2020. from the Aid for Recovery for Cohesion and European Areas “REACT-EU” instrument.

The implementation of this project refers to the investment in the expansion of the premises of the new business unit and the procurement of machines and equipment that the company will use to create new items for customers.

Project goals: opening of a new business unit, increase in sales revenue by 26% in 2025. compared to 2020, export growth by 28% in 2025. compared to 2020, increasing the company's production technological capabilities, opening 6 jobs, saving 25% of electricity per product unit, reducing waste in the production process by 30%.

Promoting the work of women in manufacturing companies and in management positions in manufacturing companies

The Vektor Group company deals with large-format digital printing and the production and assembly of illuminated advertisements and other products intended for the advertising industry.
In order to achieve an increase in capacity, revenue from sales and exports and a contribution to the digital and green transition, the company implemented the project Implementation of technological processes of the new business unit, reconstructed and upgraded the production space and acquired four new machines, one table and one software.  

The equipment acquired on the basis of this project is automated and digitalized, the management of which does not require heavy physical work, and both women and men can work on them equally. Since one of the specific goals of the project is to create 6 new jobs by 2025, when hiring new employees, the candidate's expertise and work experience in the same or similar jobs will be primarily taken into account, regardless of their gender, age, national or religious affiliation. Š this concerns the share of women who work in manufacturing companies as well as in management positions in such companies, with the increasing automation of production, the said share has been increasing in recent years. That gender equality is promoted in the Vektor Grupa company is also proven by the fact that out of seven members of the project team, three of them were members of the female gender and participated in the implementation of the project on an equal footing with the male members of the project team. Likewise, in the Vektor Grupa company, women are employed in two out of five management positions.
